Answering your questions... Do I need a Web site? Yes. We can design one for you or provide a link from your existing site. Do I need to open accounts with Visa, Mastercard or Amex? No, we arrange to process your donations via our Merchant ID Number. What if I already have an account? We can use your Merchant ID as well. How secure is it? Totally! Credit card numbers are entered only into the IBM e-commerce server and then only shared with the processing company. However, we can do sustaining donor programs. Do I get the credit card numbers? No! eDonation.com does not retain credit card numbers, only transaction codes. Is the donation page customized to my organization? Absolutely! We'll match the same look of your website. How does the charge appear on the donor's credit card statement? The charge will appear as eDonation.com which will remind your donor on the thank you page. How do I know who donated? You are given a user name and password to access your financial records 24 hours a day. Who sends the e-mail thank you? Within minutes of the donation, a thank you letter from you will automatically be sent to your donor. You may draft the letter. What are the costs involved? Costs break into three categories:
